Concerns about Google's Free Data Storage for Organizations

You know I kinda find it strange that the tech giant Google is offering data storage up to 100 petabytes or PBs to businesses to store their data and sensitive information there.  Think about it for a second everyone nothing in this world is for free there is always goes wrong with dealing with sensitive information in the business world. I have a sneaky suspicion that Google is trying to compete with the Walmart of the internet Amazon's data storage system called Amazon Cloud Drive. If I was a owner of a large or small business I would be very careful of Google's data storage because there is always a hidden charge sometime in the mix. Plus how do we know that it is not prone to an hacker attack from the outside world who can find and exploit Google's Cloud Storage Near line's vulnerabilities and weaknesses in the system. Did Google and its Information Technology Department made the necessary security defensive and patches to protect the system from a cyber attack and a potential data breach from rogue employees on the inside and the black hatted hackers from the outside these things must be be top priority before any roll out of the data storage is released to the public.

Call me whatever you want, but I want to make sure this cloud system by Google is really live up to the hype. Of course sure it does have 99 percent up time as far as loading data in the system, but is this just another beta version a prototype for the real version make up by just software programmers and developers in Google's main office in Silicon Valley? Here is the thing if you looked the cloud system more closely it is free for only 6 months nothing more and nothing less. It is something that Organizations must think about really careful when putting their business information onto any cloud service from these cloud computing companies because it the end of the day nothing is secure cloud systems can be hacked and data breaches will expose a lot of sensitive information.  I dont know you guys it is my viewpoint on things please tell me what you think about Google's Data Cloud System. Here are some articles to expand your mind on this issue.

Can a Hacker Hack a Car?

You know before I have thought about writing a blog regarding about hackers is it possible to hacked a automobile? The answer is a shocking yes cars can be hacked by hackers in today's modern era since everyone is so dependable on their cars to get that to point A to point B. If you look at these so called smart cars with these different and emerging technologies making it easier for hackers to exploit the vulnerabilities of the smart systems in today's cars. Think about this worse case scenario for a second here if hackers get organized and hacked these smart cars on the freeway or the interstate drivers will be killed, severely maimed, permanently injured, and etc. Auto companies must integrate security protocols and high sophisticated security patches to protect the smart cars from hackers and cyber criminals. Also promote public awareness to drivers and auto consumers that there cars are not as completely secure and take precautions when imputing their passwords on the dashboards.

Now lets get into how can a hacker can hacked a car or a truck via remote access to a laptop. It is really simple all a hacker needs hacked into a car's Electronic Control Unit or ECUs to get access to the internal vehicle network every single modern day car has 20 to 100 devices in its design.  How does a ECU work you might asked it communicates with different parts of the vehicle to operate in a smooth way.Gain access to the vehicle's head or controller chip or firmware. Use the head unit's firmware to compromise the vehicle's controller area network(CAN) which speaks to all of the ECUs throughout the vehicle.Discover which CAN messaging can control various vehicle functions   Here is the scary part most ECUs are not secure security wise in a vehicle and they do pose a huge risk to car manufacturer, passengers, and the vehicle itself. If automobile companies are not careful then car accidents and lawsuits will be on the rise and the auto insurance will skyrocket the price. Also I wish that automakers and their Information Technology Departments take the time and install security protocols, detection and countermeasures against remote access to attacks by hackers to protect their vehicles on the road. At the end of the day like my last blog stated that," Nothing is Secure Anymore." That includes motor vehicles as well looked at these articles below if you guys do not believe me.

H1B1 Visas

I have major problems with H1B1 Visas and its affects on Information Technology Security Professionals here in the USA. Have you noticed that corporations and sometimes government agencies tend to outsource their IT departments or even customer service centers related to tech to people overseas leaving displaced Americans out in the cold. Not only that these high wage IT workers who are laid off affects not their families but the communities like the restaurants, grocery stores, bars, and etc. Also affects the tax base of the city and county governments for revenues yes I know we live in a information and digital age type of economy, but we also need to understand that hiring foreign nationals to do the jobs of American IT workers on the cheap is totally wrong. I know that proponents of the H1B Visa program i.e. Facebook, Apple, IBM, Microsoft and other big tech firms will say that," H1B Visas are the future and we need to global help to solve the IT security problems of the present and of the future." That is all sounds fine and good, but when you think about it  H1B1 Visas has done more harm than good and now these same companies want to expand the program from 65,000 to 195,000 if that happens then the US tech force will be severely crippled to the point of beyond repair.

Yes I have an open mind, but we must put The American Tech Force first black, white, yellow, red, and etc. I do believe in putting the needs of IT workers here in America first then foreign nationals any day of the week. Senior Management must understand that sure the american IT workers are very expensive, but at the end of the day they are really good at their jobs and the last thing they need to is to train some foreigner from a different part of the world  who don't speak the language via web ex sessions or in person training to replace them at their desks. I do not care if you offering 100 grand as severance pay to the IT department to train the foreign replacements it does have long term consequences and ramifications in the end. Like I stated earlier if the IT workforce gets laid off in a  community lets say Melbourne, Florida the space coast and also the home of NASA then it will destroyed and crashed the local economy there and once these IT jobs are gone they are never going to return again look that these articles below to expand your knowledge. In my next blog I will be talking about How to Detact Keyloggers on your computers everyone.

Nothing is Secure in the Cyber World

You know as I begin to wonder nothing in the cyber security world is secure nowadays think about in organizations they keep on talking their security systems are up to date and top notch in security. But in reality there are not as secure with every security and cyber defense that are developed by organizations or contracted out to third party vendors and developers nothing is really secure in the IT world. Think about every system as a weakness that hackers, cyber terrorists, criminals, and etc can exploited security flaws for their own personal gain. Have you notice that senior management in both public(Government) and private(Corporate) are very oblivious to the dangers of data breaches they think that all they need to do is just put a band aid in the problem and hopefully another data breach does not happen at their watch in the coming future. I am sorry, but in order to prevent any kind of data breaches to any organization is to make the necessary investments to protect critical information and to senior management stop living in a 20th century bubble thinking that no one can harm your organization from the outside or in the internally(Rogue or pissed off employees) cyber security wise. Also listen to your IT staff on regarding the problem and how can the organization take countermeasures and protocols to prevent these data breaches or at least limited the impact from severely harming the control grid from damages that are beyond repair.

Look I know that we want to live in a secure world that our information is safe and sound, but we need to understand that your, mobile devices, credit or debit cards, laptops, home desktops, and other electronic items can be subjected to be hacked at any given time by black hatted hackers. Plus not to mention even your home defense security system or smart systems can be also hacked as well. For example one of the ways a hacker can hacked a home smart security system is to as usual reset your passwords without your notice or pretend to have user credentials to exploit the weakness in the security system and flaws. There are many examples all there on the internet but I will say this everyone must take precautions in order to secure your personal and private information look at this articles below to give you an idea same thing with large and small corporations and government agencies see below and as for my next blog will be called Data Breaches and Senior Management Incompetent towards IT Related Matters.

Why The Price of the Internet Needs to Go Up

You know I find this amazing that social media is giving idiots and trolls a major voice on the internet and it is destroying any common sense reasoning and logic. Think about it for a moment have you wondering why you are arguing with stupid people on the internet who loves to revel in their ignorance and stupidity and making your head spinning over the dumb stuff they are saying just leave them behind. I feel like the price of the internet needs to go way up like $ 350 dollars a month along with paying bills that way the idiots  and keyboard warriors wont have a voice anymore because the price has went up. For example, look at the whole Dr. Bill Cosby incident everyone had something to say on social media and the commons and the memes' making fun, using racial comments and wishing death on him is way out of line and dead wrong. Look whatever if you believe Dr. Cosby did it or not its not important at moment and my new blog will be my thoughts on the whole Dr. Cosby fiasco, but now lets focus on price of the internet. Not to mention they are now attack Dr. Cosby's wife Camille Cosby and calling her foul names and wishing death on her and hoping she get rape in the process boy I tell you ppl on social media really need some major help and rehab because they are taking the internet way too seriously for their own good my god man grow up people and enjoy life.

Now I know the keyboard warriors and idiots are going to be mad at me and personally I do not give two flying figs about their opinions and  their crap they spew I have learned  that people are going to attack you regardless so I am bracing myself for the impact. Plus I know what are they going to say regarding the price of the internet," The internet must be free, fucking fascist, corporate sellout, traitor to the free internet and etc" That is fine but what I am saying is some people do not deserve to have the internet I wish the Internet Service Providers or ISPs can cut off the internet from idiots and doucebags who are being disrespectful on the internet until they paid the extra 350 dollars for access on the internet. In conclusion if idiots have to shell out 350 bucks just for access internet then you will not see as many trolls or keyboard warriors having a voice on the internet that is one black man's opinion and you can take it to the bank. Internet trolls and keyboard warriors are ruining the intelligence discourse online if the critics do not like my assessment then deuces go find another blog that will love your ignorance.
